Alex Middleton

she/her

MA, LPC, LAMFT, SEP, RYT, IFS Level 1 Certified, Level 2 Training (in process)

Hello! I am glad you have found your way here. I am Alex, and I am a somatic therapist and a Marriage and Family psychotherapist. I enjoy working with a trauma-informed approach alongside the family system, whether that plays out in in individual therapy, or in couples or family therapy. I am passionate about helping my clients find the human spirit of resiliency within themselves, and that no matter where he, she, or they find themselves in life, there is always hope on the other side. Sometimes we just need another person walking with us.

I approach therapy with a laid-back yet honest posture, and I love to incorporate parts work (Internal Family Systems) and body-based/nervous system regulating interventions that bring awareness to what our bodies are trying to tell us about our thoughts and emotions. I find myself drawn to working at this intersection of the mind-body connection and applying this with trauma-informed parts work to help clients suffering with complex trauma, including sexual trauma and emotional abuse, as well as divorce, LGBTQIA+ issues, gender identity, eating disorders, anxiety and depression, self-harm, and relational problems.

I currently work with adolescents (12+), young adults, couples, and families. I am also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a Level 1 Trained IFS therapist, and trained as a Hatha yoga instructor to be able to better implement practices of mindfulness and embodiment with my clients.

If your mind and body are telling you that we would be a good fit, please feel free to contact me at alex@intownsomatics.com or 404-236-9402. I am available for both in person and telehealth sessions, and I am accepting new clients at this time.

Bailey Foster

she/her

MA, LPC, SEP

Hi, I’m Bailey — a warm, empathetic therapist dedicated to helping you feel deeply seen, supported, and understood. My work is rooted in the belief that healing begins with safety. Before anything else, my role is to create a space where your nervous system can settle, your story can be held with care, and trust can naturally take shape.

My approach is highly relational. I see therapy as a collaborative process, one built on genuine connection, attunement, and curiosity. I move at your pace, honoring your lived experience while helping you explore the patterns, beliefs, and relational dynamics that have shaped who you are.

I integrate a strong somatic lens into our work because healing isn’t just a cognitive experience — it’s also deeply embodied. Through gentle awareness of your body’s signals, sensations, and protective responses, you can learn to reconnect with yourself on a deeper level. This connection not only supports emotional regulation and resilience, but it also opens the door to more meaningful relationships and a more grounded sense of self.

Attachment theory guides much of my work. Together, we explore how early relationships and learned survival strategies influence your current experiences — in love, in friendships, in conflict, and in the quiet moments with yourself. By bringing awareness and compassion to these patterns, you gain the space to choose differently and move toward relationships that feel more secure, reciprocal, and nourishing.

In our work, you can expect warmth, honesty, and a steady presence. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel empowered, understood, and capable of creating the internal and external changes you seek. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens in connection — and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you return to yourself. You can contact me at bailey@intownsomatics.com or call/text at 404-490-0326. I am available for both in person and telehealth sessions, and I am accepting new clients at this time.
